9mobile Network Set To Be Sold Out On 16th January 2018: See Reason

Glo is one of the highest bidders out of other networks which stepped out to acquire 9mobile Network.

According to Insider which reveals the reason why Glo is desperate to buy 9mobile which is to make Globacom become the number one largest network in Nigeria after combination of subscribers of services.

Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) stated that there will be no shift in the date fixed and approved for the sale of 9mobile.

The NCC Executive Commissioner and Stakeholder Management, insisted that the transactions and hand over of 9mobile to the new owner must be finally concluded on the 16th of January, 2018.
Although that 9mobile was to be sold on December 31, 2017 but they wrote to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the NCC, asking for extension of date from December 31st, 2017 to January 16th, 2018.
