- Remove the packaging
- De-attach the top velcro strips that are holding everything together.
- You might see some instructions on board. if you can continue no problem

- Fold out the two flaps.
- Next, you'll fold down the entire bottom section
- Remove the package of goodies in the middle of the kit.
- In the package you should hopefully find: An NFC tag, an instruction manual, nose padding strip, head straps with velcro, and velcro strips with adhesive backing for attaching the head straps.
- Continue to fold the section with the two flaps over until the velcro strips on the flaps match up with the velcro pads on the side of the viewer.
- Fold the flaps down until the velcro strips are secured.
- Next, it's time to install the head strap. Make sure you've got the three adhesive-backed velcro strips handy for this next part.
- Before you slap the velcro strips on the side of the viewer, you'll want to try and line it up so you place them in line with your forehead temples. This should make for a more comfortable Cardboard experience.
- Remove the backing of the first velcro strip and adhere it to the side of the viewer.
- Make sure to line up the second strip in the same position as the first on the opposite side of the viewer.
- Attach the two side straps to the sides and make sure everything is lined up nicely.
- Next, you'll want to fold over the front cover and place the third velcro strip in the middle — right on top
- nstall the NFC Tag along the inside of the front panel. You can program your NFC tag using an app such as Trigger to have your phone automatically launch the Cardboard, but is not necessary for using your Google Cardboard.
- Next, flip the viewer upside down and install the nose padding strip along the curved nose cutout.
- Now that everything has been assembled, your final step is to remove the film protecting the lenses. It's best to leave this step until last to avoid any scratching, fingerprints or dirt from getting on them during the assembly process.
- You're ready to go! To try it out for the first time, load the Cardboard app onto your phone. You'll be prompted to scan the viewer profile QR code on your viewer.
- Next, load up a VR experience or game on your phone.
- Place your phone in the Cardboard phone holder and you should see the VR display pop up.Seal up the velcro at the top and you're good to go!
